May 18, 2012 - PlayPower LT Canada is hosting the Ontario Parks Association Foundation’s Dave Gower Memorial Event.
This event, held on June 7 and 8th, raises funds to provide scholarships for students planning a career in Parks and Recreation. Attendees can choose between participating in the golf tournament, or enjoying a canoe trip down the Grand River. Last year the weather was excellent and a turnout of over 120 participants helped raise over $16,000 for the foundation.
The event begins with the Riverside BBQ on Thursday night. Breakfast is served at 8am Friday morning at the Paris Grand Country Club, followed by the Golf Tournament and guided canoe trip.
